LOVER MAN

I visited Arceheological museum of Antalya years before and I fell in love with the hellenistic sculptures found at an antic city named as Perge. One of them was a sculptures of an ordinary man. There was no ticket showing his name or busyness. But it was so impressive and more beautiful then all the sculptures of gods and goddesses...

I captured 235 photographs of him. They were all different according to me and they were showing some different facial impression. Or the composition was changing according to the point of view that I get the photograph.

   
  
   

So I stop and thought which one must be photograph of that sculpture that I should add to my gallery. It was a little bit hard to decide...I spend some time on the museum and captured some more photographs. I also spend more time at home to choose the one I like. Finally I remember the words of "Calliope the head master of the Muses". She advised to me about the way an artist have to choose...

The problem was about the feeling that a photographer wants to reflect. The artist would choose the best shot to transfer what he / she wants to reflect with the photograph.

I think the artist is a human who runs after to visualise the beauty or magic of the view by the branch of the art he / she is involved. A photographer must choose the photo that tells the idea on the best way. Because I am impressed by the sculpture and felt adoration to it's dynamic facial impression, first I think what does that man is telling to me. His cynical looks reminds me some men that I know before, some friends...They were so roguish men so, their face were about to find a woman at every moment.
