See? Big change when soul enters in the stage along with an idea. Is not random anymore, not even the lights. Your model has more force here to express himself and you have more room to represent what you´re trying to transmit.
The posse of the model reminds me of magazines covers, which are trying to sell us an image about the fatal man: young, strong, bold, beautiful, in shorts, almost naked, attractive, mysterious... in another words "Bigger than his shadow", bigger than he actually is... When we are young, especially men, the world is ours and we do not really realize is not exactly the way we want to picture it for others...
I would love to see one day this work on its opposite meaning, when model is old, in the same composition, but from the right, not from the left. Put together in a diptych, face to face, like into a mirror, would be like the entire life of a person: "when the shadow is bigger than himself, when he is bigger than his shadow" ... Would be a nice transition worth to see...
----
edit: a slight typo: "Bigger than himself", not "bigger then himself" (In English, THEN refers to time, and THAN when we compare something... I know is hard for you to translate, but I also see nobody has told you so far... A friend should know, because is never a shame to know, is not easy for nobody to learn a foreign language.)
