Madam Anahit was born at Taksim/Talimhane at 1926 ın a house near the famous grocery shop named Niagora
Her family is very famous Armenian citizens of Istanbul. Her grandfather was a finance man at Ottoman placa also
His brother was a priest but, suicided at his young ages! She spent her summer holidays at Princess Islands
One of those days she expores love
She tells, she fell in love with a boy living close to their house and she got her first accordion lessons from him
When she asks to buy an accordion to her mother, her mother took her to a well-know shop named Papa Jorj. .It was 1940 and she began to play accordion
After her husband died at late 50s she begin to play her enstrument at Çiçek Pasajı and she became a symbol of that place
She spends only half an hour at some restaurants at Passage
She often plays a song Papatya gibisin, beyaz ve ince
If they gave her money she takes..If not, she never asks!
It was so hard work to play at such a place but she never drinks and smokes cigarettes
She begin with a cold water and then she continue with some fruit juices
After years she was a real trade mark
.She played at some movies and she is known as most photographed person in Taksim square! Recently some people are trying to collect that amatuer shots to create a collection to be kept in a places that they will establish in her name!...
She got two famous children..Bigger duagther known is Nona Bella singin tangos at my early ages but, the little daughther was even more famous. She is a very popular pop singer named Asu Maralman
This is a tribute to Madam Anahit, Cause she died at first of september 2004
