I don't Believe You by Hermetic-Wings I don't Believe You by Hermetic-Wings
When I was young and they packed me off to school
and taught me how not to play the game,
I didn't mind if they groomed me for success,
or if they said that I was a fool.
So I left there in the morning
with their God tucked underneath my arm --
their half-assed smiles and the book of rules.
So I asked this God a question
and by way of firm reply,
He said -- I'm not the kind you have to wind up on Sundays.
So to my old headmaster (and to anyone who cares):
before I'm through I'd like to say my prayers --
I don't believe you:
you had the whole damn thing all wrong --
He's not the kind you have to wind up on Sundays.

Wind Up / Jehtro Tull

Faved...

People still dont trust...
trust in their own beliefs...
The sattelite antennas...
are all pointing to "The Half God"...
listening to:
The Head Master...!

Ayhan...Your picture...
is like a flute solo by Jethro...!
The same vibrant energy...
small passages...
between...
BIG Orange blocks off wall...!

He is a master of expressions...
do I like him...?!
Do not wind me up...
He has lungs...of satin and steel...!
A hero...what bravery...
bringing a flute to rock...
standing on one leg...!
And his songs are deep...
as this one is...

I have never seen a god...
for me...
all gods are together in their place...
as we are here...

I dont have to believe...
I dont have to have a god...
I have a totem animal...
it takes care of all connection...
in its own way...
in its own time...!
All I have to do...
Is trust...
trust in it...!

Greetings Ayhan...Jakob.

Beautiful!!!!!!i lived on the island of Goree off Dakar Senegal West Africa, (1968-1970 and 1978-1981)and this photo jolts my memory with the lighting and color captured in the peeling and pappered " fresco painting on the stucco wall.
thank you for stopping there to notice such beauty (almost ignoring the boys and the media satelites), as if, to say, beauty is all around you , you just have to notice.
For us, the artists we have to sensitively and honestly capture it for our people's collective memory( lest they forget). Remember in" the Little Prince", he said , "what is essential is invisible". For me, it's important to make that "invisible" visible so others can see.
Let's say, i try....... and will die trying.
The other day someone wrote of one of my pieces that it reminded them of William Blake, do you know what honor that brings to the work, i'm in heaven.

"When I was young and they packed me off to school

I never been in Africa. This was the most magic continent according to me. It contains every kind of exotic things...I can understand how such sybolic and beauties diffuses to your art now...
I am so happy to got such dense notes from you. I left to answer it to the morning. I can write pages about to share the annonimity of the beauties and we have to shelter and share them as being artits..

Once I read that you can create beauties in your way but, there are some symbols to use for all of us. And every artist use it on their own style. If you have something to tell then you can create something by using them. To impress about something is so surprising sometimes you are doing something without being concious of the main idea...Because an artist can feel more than to arrange...

And finally William Blake...I am agree with that deviant! Yes, most of your submissions tells more than just a single idea. And William Blake is an ocean,so, you sail at that sea by your winds on your wings..feeling so happy by that words coming from you...And want to remind you that I am waiting for your latest sumissions. And try to find some traces from Buadelaire, Dostoyevski or Leonard Cohen...:hug:s my dear friend :D
